Terms of Service

The rules for using this website. For project-specific contracts, refer to your signed Scope of Work.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms govern use of the buildhaus.digital website. They are separate from any contract you may have with us for services, which will be documented in a signed Scope of Work.

2. Website content ownership

All content on this site (copy, images, code, case study content, design) is the intellectual property of Buildhaus or its licensors. You may read, share, and link to our content freely. You may not republish our content commercially without written permission.

3. Client work shown in our portfolio

Client work shown on the Work page is displayed with client permission. The design, branding, and business content belongs to each respective client, not to Buildhaus.

4. Accuracy of information

We aim to keep everything on this site accurate and current. Pricing, timelines, and service descriptions are indicative, not guaranteed. Specific terms for any engagement are confirmed in writing before work begins.

5. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites (clients, tools we recommend, reference articles). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

6. No warranty on general advice

Blog posts and general guidance published here are written to be useful, but they are not professional advice tailored to your specific business. Before acting on anything you read here, please consider your own context or talk to a qualified professional.

7. Liability

We do our best to keep this website working and free of malicious code, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, Buildhaus is not liable for incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the website itself. Any contractual work we deliver for you is covered under the liability terms in your signed Scope of Work.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad & Tobago and the United Kingdom, depending on your location. For clients in either jurisdiction, the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive authority to resolve disputes.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our business changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms: [email protected].

It is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and related intellectual property laws of Trinidad & Tobago, the United Kingdom, and international conventions.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of our content for commercial use without written permission.
  • Use the Buildhaus™ name or wordmark in a way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or partnership you don't actually have with us.
  • Scrape or bulk-download our content for use in AI training datasets, competitor websites, or resale.
  • Use our case studies, client imagery, or brand assets as examples of your own work or your agency's work.

You may:

  • Link to our pages freely.
  • Quote short excerpts (under 100 words) with clear attribution and a link back.
  • Reference our work in press, podcasts, or reviews.

12. Takedown requests (DMCA and equivalent)

If you believe content on buildhaus.digital infringes your copyright, or you find your work has been used here without permission, email [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright notice" and include:

  • The URL or location on our site where the infringing content appears.
  • Your contact information (name, email, and physical address if applicable).
