Terms of Sale
These terms apply to every order placed with Certified Scoop Ltd. (“Certified Scoop”, “we”) through this website, by phone, email, WhatsApp or in-store. By placing an order you confirm you have read and accept them.
1. Who we are
Certified Scoop Ltd. is a company registered in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. Trading address: South Park Mall, San Fernando & East Gates Mall, Trincity. Contact: [email protected].
2. Orders
- An order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation.
- We may decline an order if a product is unavailable, the price was displayed in error, or we cannot deliver to your area.
- All prices are in Trinidad & Tobago Dollars (TT$) and include VAT where applicable.
3. Payment
Payment is taken in full when you place the order, by bank transfer, debit/credit card or in-store. We use third-party payment processors (e.g. WiPay) and never store full card numbers ourselves.
4. Delivery, pickup & events
- Standard pickup is from our stalls at South Park Mall and East Gates Mall during opening hours.
- Catering and event orders require a minimum 48-hour notice and are subject to a separate written quotation.
- Delivery times are estimates. Ice cream is perishable, please be present at the agreed pickup window.
5. Quality & food safety
We prepare all products in kitchens that meet the standards of the Trinidad & Tobago Food and Drugs Act, Chapter 30:01. If you receive a product that is below the standard described, contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery and we will replace it or refund (see Refunds Policy).
6. Allergens
Our products may contain or come into contact with: milk, nuts, peanuts, soy, eggs, wheat, sesame. See the full Allergen Notice before ordering. We cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Subject to that, our maximum liability for any claim arising from a single order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms removes the rights you have under the Trinidad & Tobago Consumer Protection & Safety Act, Chap. 82:34, the Sale of Goods Act, Chap. 82:30, or other applicable T&T law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Trinidad & Tobago.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date will reflect any change. The version in force is the one on this page when you place your order.
